Who we are

"Rebecca has the ability to take our stories, frame our stories, and bring them to life with passion and compassion."

Rabbi Steve Lowenstein (Am Shalom, Glencoe, IL)

Rebecca Anderson comes to storytelling via stand-up comedy, playwrighting, and preaching. She's been on Snap Judgment (radio), The Broad Experience (podcast), and a Risk! live event. In Chicago, Rebecca has worked with companies and events like 2nd Story, The Moth, This Much is True, the Truth or Lie series, and Do Not Submit. She leads workshops and has created events all over Chicagoland, as well as at the Wild Goose Festival, General Synod (UCC), and General Assembly (Disciples of Christ). Vince Amlin is also a preacher and writer, with a degree in playwrighting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and a background in performance. He has been published in Split Ticket: Independent Faith in a Time of Partisan Politics and From the Psalms to the Cloud: Connecting in the Digital Age. He's currently working on a book titled The Great Speckled Bird: Faith Lessons Learned Through Binoculars.

Lindsey Braun’s first love was storytelling. It was also her gateway to preaching. As a pastor at Plymouth Church in Des Moines she gets to tell stories in the pulpit, and has also been heard at Moth story slams, open mics, and as part of the Des Moines Storytellers Project. That story led to an appearance on the Today Show. Lindsey’s work curating, coaching, and hosting storytelling events includes the Tri-Conference Joint Annual Meeting of the Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota Conferences of the United Church of Christ.
